Ragaia brings a fluid understanding of how creating nurturing space will create nurturance and rejuvenation in our lives on a daily basis. Living within a "design" of nurturance helps to ensure this occurs. He firmly believes that creating sacred healing spaces in our lives is as important as eating organic foods. This has always been true and perhaps now more than ever with the amount of stress that exists in everyday life.
Ragaia's intention in creating the Ayurvedic spa and landscape of Blue Sage Sanctuary is to create a harmonious environment that assists in catalyzing the awareness of nurturance and rejuvenation. This is accomplished by working with the natural elements of sound, light, water and earth in a graceful and conscious way.
A deep sense of the restorative and healing cycles of nature drew Ragaia's consciousness into a profound awareness of the interconnectedness of all life. Nature's constant movement to heal and restore itself is ever present and observable. Simply observing the constant changing of seasons illustrates this ebb & flow.
Since childhood Ragaia has pursued his fascination with the workings of the body. Later this journey led him to a career in corporate design and interior architecture where his focus became that of creating greater wellness utilizing an understanding of ergonomics with a focus on solving repetitive strain disorders in the workplace.
Through a series of transformative life experiences Ragaia was ultimately led to study the elemental principles of Traditional Chinese medicine and eventually discover the knowledge of creating and living in balance with the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. After completing the Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist program at CCA Ragaia felt compelled to look for a place that would support the essence of a healing spa for rest and rejuvenation. In the Spring of 2004 the land of Blue Sage presented itself and Blue Sage Sanctuary came into being. Ragaia has committed himself to moving forward as Steward to guide the evolution of this beautiful sanctary.
